Drawing is the basis for MANY art forms, and no matter what your favorite, it is good practice to DRAW! This five-week series is designed to be an overview of drawing techniques and materials, as well as a review of basic art elements. We’ll move from work with still objects to work with live models, while experiencing various drawing materials. More advanced exercises will be incorporated for participants who are more experienced or who have previously taken the series. Outside assignments will be recommended and all work will be evaluated.

Class #2: Studies using charcoal
Class #3: Studies using graphite
Class #4: Studies using ink
Class #5: Unique drawing methods and materials; mixed media finale.
