Continue the drawing adventure as you explore the possibilities of all the mediums presented in Beginning Drawing and more. We’ll work with compressed, vine, tinted, powdered and pencil varieties of charcoal, new types of graphite and ink and other mediums such as pastels. Improve your skills with the basic principles and elements of design as you work on still life, human portrait, landscape, and free-choice subject matter. Try techniques that enhance your drawing such as utilizing unique surfaces, adding fixative, masking, and more! This class will reinforce drawing basics but will offer more depth of material and more time to draw. Demos where requested. Open to those with some drawing experience. Most materials will be included in the fee, but bring whatever drawing supplies you have and a 14 X 17 or 18 X 24 drawing pad with good quality paper.
