In this fun and easy Collagraph Printmaking Workshop we will take simple materials like cardboard pieces, wood scraps and craft foam sheets and make prints using acrylic paint. Step it up and use some bleeding tissue paper to give your background depth and texture. Your designs can be simple or complex, multi- colored or black and white. Anything goes! Find your inner playful artist and leave the stress behind. Come with sketches and ideas to maximize our time.
The instructor will provide watercolor paper, acrylic paint, brushes, palettes, cardboard scraps, foam sheets, adhesive, bleeding tissue paper, scissors, hot glue guns, various pieces of wood as a surface for your collages.
Please! Bring anything you’d like to contribute. If you have higher quality paper you’d like to use or special materials of any sort, please bring them along. Wear clothing that doesn’t mind paint.
