Susie Kossmann, a lifelong resident of central Ohio, has been crafting glass for over 35 years. She started her career designing and creating stained glass windows and added glass fusing and glass mosaics to her repertoire over the years. Using the skills she learned as a painting major at Ohio University, she works in glass with a painter's eye. Landscapes, wine cellar doors, portraits and pet portraits are among her specialties. Susie has taught glass classes through Artist in Residence programs with area schools as well as private classes in her former Galena, OH, gallery and studio. Many of Susie's works are permanent installations across central Ohio in schools, churches, public buildings and private residences.
