Born in Massachusetts and raised in Pennsylvania , Anne has now lived in Worthington , Ohio for the past 19 years. She is co-founder of Phoenix Rising Printmaking Cooperative in Columbus where she continues to print, teach and encourage others to learn about and enjoy the medium of printmaking. When not actually making art, she shares her passion for it by being a Docent at the Columbus Museum of Art. Anne received a BFA from Penn State Univ., attended the Slade School of Art, University College , London , England and has been a recipient of an Ohio Arts Council grant. She has exhibited throughout Ohio , as well as, nationally and internationally.
Her medium of choice is often printmaking. The methods she employs, etching, collagraph, linocut, and monotype permit her to develop images evolving from a technical thought process, through the physical manipulations of the plate, to the visual interpretation that culminates with a print. "Whether the image is inspired from an actual scene or from the landscape of my mind, my objective is to present an image that serves as a catalyst to the mind and spirit in unison."
